Unmarked Cemetary Indian River Road

Unmarked Cemetary Indian River Road On North side of the road, maybe 200 yards to the west of Owens Cem., on un-numbered parcel, GPIN 24033193620000. The site is to the left of 2280 INDIAN RIVER RD

The site is in the S.E. corner of the wooded lot and GPR scan indicated numerous graves. It needs further clearing and both field and office investigation.

My best guess is that it is on land formerly owned by a James Whitehurst (1790-1843) and that it contains his remains, along with those of his wife, his son Henry Whitehurst, and his grandson John Henry Whitehurst (1834-1910(?) and his wife Mary Eaton Three side-by side child sized graves were discovered in the partial scan of the site.
